Father, Ciranjiva, had surrendered himself to the will of time which he called Mother and in this state of surrender he was meditating when in that hour the vision appeared to him. Before this he had heard voices and seen parts of visions, but never had the power and force that was progressively possessing him manifested itself completely to him. He was meditating in the mud hut where the family lived then when Mother appeared before him and asked what he wanted. And Mother came in the form of his younger daughter, Lopa. "You have been praying to me," she said, "what do you want?" Father answered, "I want you. I don't want to lose you again and have to seek you through many lifetimes again." And the vision answered that once she appeared completely and integrally to one she would never be lost and became attached to that seer. "What else do you want?" and Father said he wanted many things and to each request she said "granted" and finally Father said he wanted to go to the United States and be the occasion of spreading this divine knowledge and be accepted by the waking consciousness there. Again Mother granted his wish and from Lopa she began to change form very quickly and assume very rapidly the forms of all the Goddesses and Gods that would come to Father in response to the vision as time rolled out and would be the forms to assume the knowledge with him. And finally Father asked if he could have a certain power. He had read in Siva Sastra, the knowledge of Siva, that Siva was so great a yogi amongst the Gods that he possessed the power of having all circumstances and nature enact what was necessary to manifest his will and vision. He asked Mother if he could have this power. She answered, "When will you wake up, my Lord? Don't you see that your children will destroy themselves? I am only your will whom you call Mother."
Father came out of his vision no longer the human or mortal Ciranjiva but a completely conscious vehicle for the expression of this knowledge. He saw what was going to happen, how the world would move from ignorance and disintegration into knowledge and harmony and he saw the movement of that knowledge and how it would stretch out into 164,000 years of conscious evolution, the period of Siva Kalpa, and he knew that Gods and Goddesses from the West who were presently oblivious of their divine natures would come to receive the knowledge and bring him back with them to America. And in the three months the implications of this vision kept coming to Father and he began telling his family and everyone around him what was going to happen but it came in pieces and sections and not too coherently and it wasn't until the 19th of September that it could be integrally expressed through Father's form. That expression resulted in Siva Kalpa, which as a document is the Veda or scripture or divine program, if you will, of the next 164,000 years of our conscious evolution, "Siva" because that is the knowledge which synthesizes matter with the consciousness that holds it in place and "Kalpa" which is an imagination or period of time. I would like to read Siva Kalpa to you now.
This message started broadcasting first and completely through Father's form. Most of us that you will hear speak tonight received it first supraphysically. It was not clear to us what was changing our lives, but the knowledge that possessed Father's form was not the kind of knowledge that had to move itself from circumstance. So the first people to receive it were those he lived with, the ones that Time had prepared to receive it, his own family. Constantly they became bombarded by the knowledge and we were just getting symptoms of it. We first arrived in the third year of Siva Kalpa and the family was in total consciousness, since then our reception of the knowledge has become more, we have moved into that position and in the States since Father has come a foundation for the continuing of the revelation established itself on all planes mental, vital, and physical. We moved with the Indian Family as an inspiration into the nucleus of the energy that holds this knowledge as it radiates out for other forms to understand it as the Self in their form begins to receive the communication and the nucleus of divine phenotypes is being created and was fulfilled in the Indian Family and in the fifth year of Siva Kalpa we brought them here. In 1970, after Father had been here for approximately eight months he wanted to create a foundation to enable us to circulate to the various other people around the world who had met Father and loved him too much, and his family. The foundation was created for that purpose. It is similar to a university, as close as it can become. It's very free. All of us are really a family. We're followers of the knowledge that the Indian Family has presented to us when we met them each individually; if in India, in India or if here, here. And they have taught us how to organize ourselves so that we are able to become stabilized enough to relay this message on. Let us say that the Indian Family are the professors and our family, the American family that has been created around Father are the students. We're learning, we're still learning and that is what we are doing with everybody that we know and our friends that we are trying to relay the happiness that we have received from the Indian Family. That is our duty and that is what we do.
The foundation is an office; it's like the administration. Downstairs in 59 Scott Street, way down in the bottom, is quite a very well organized office. Diana Young is in charge of it right now and I assure you, she is never without her IBM Selectric and all letters are very formal and for that purpose we are able to communicate quickly and efficiently and that is the most important goal of the foundation, to get the message across the oceans and to the other centers of the foundation. We have a foundation in London where Simon Ashley Stock is, a dear friend of ours, right now. We have a foundation in Marseilles and a foundation in Paris. We have a foundation in Melbourne and a foundation in Calcutta. Did I forget any? And one in Amsterdam.
Everyone who is a member of the foundations in these various cities was, like ourselves, young, naive, and disorganized and through the understanding of the ability to organize yourself so that you can make yourself a better citizen and better able to create strength within yourself and to the people around you, that is what we're doing. So communication goes out very regularly and that is what circulates around the world so that the message can be spread of what we're doing, learning from the Indian Family who have created an organized, secure and, as my father put it in a beautiful letter, a spiritually secure environment. That is the environment we live in and it is up to us to be able to relay that spiritual security to all of our friends who also want it.
