All motion begins in God and ends in God. The whole universe is engaged in a whirling flow of change and activity. This is Siva's dance. We are all dancing with Siva, and He with us. Ultimately, we are Siva dancing. Aum.
BHASHYA
The world is seen as it truly is--sacred--when we behold Siva's cosmic dance. Everything in the universe, all that we see, hear and imagine, is movement. Galaxies soar in movement; atoms swirl in movement. All movement is Siva's dance. When we fight this movement and think it should be other than it is, we are reluctantly dancing with Siva. We are stubbornly resisting, holding ourselves apart, criticizing the natural processes and movements around us. It is by understanding the eternal truths that we bring all areas of our mind into the knowledge of how to accept what is and not wish it to be otherwise. Once this happens, we begin to consciously dance with Siva, to move with the sacred flow that surrounds us, to accept praise and blame, joy and sorrow, prosperity and adversity in equanimity, the fruit of understanding. We are then gracefully, in unrestrained surrender, dancing with Siva. The Vedas state, "The cosmic soul is truly the whole universe, the immortal source of all creation, all action, all meditation. Whoever discovers Him, hidden deep within, cuts through the bonds of ignorance even during his life on earth." Aum Namah Sivaya.

Higher Consciousness takes all forms including computers. Isn't it nice to be converging in again? I was happy to find the family's website. I loved the pictures. Most of the people were babies the last time we saw them. The men are looking more and more like father, wise with age and experience I would gather. Although I have not seen most of you for years, with the exception of Sharkey, I have not forgotten your shining faces. Father said that once he left form he would come to us when we needed him. I took him up on that promise one confused time in my life, and had the incredible experience of his soul passing through my form. I was reassured to know it had not been just a wonderful dream or a figment of my (probably drug hazed) imagination. Every thing he ever told me has either happened, is happening or is flowering as we speak. The great part is we really are becoming just like him. I had to earn my wings through trial by fire, as I imagine you all have too. Write Pat and I anytime. It was our oldest daughter Chandra that found your website.

Wow, I am expirencing alot of differant emotions, memories fludding in that I have blocked out for a long time. Some very good memories, some very painful. But this site will really help me deal with a lot of issues I have inside regarding my expirience growing up in the Family, living in Scott street and abroad in France and the French part of the Family, and the imiges that are engraved in my head. I miss the people that I knew so well as a child, yet do not miss the pain and suffering I endured as I grew older. I am sorry this is not an upbeat note but it is the truth of my feelings at this momment. Cherise

I was with Father in'69 in Kathmandu, for less than a month.Have had no contact
with Family for 30 years, except met Hari briefly in '72 Berkeley. I am a
traditional and folk N. Indian musician (pakhawaj and dholak master).Its been a
strange journey.Read Hari's book, just found your website. Many memories
clear,but one obscured: where I travelled during 11th chapter of Gita. Would
like to solve this 30 year mystery. Who knows about this amazing gift from the
King? There are other questions. I live in Taos, previously managed Hanuman

Thanks a lot for your communication, I'm so glad to see the site up again. I
suscribed to the mailing list. I didn't know about ONELIST service. Do you
think it will be possible to have a kind of News Page were we could put
pictures of the family or a recent family event? Like what's going on in other
countries, like France for example. Marcia Gayton just left for Marseille to
visit Richard and Kamalah. Avon ( maybe mispelling), her older son is keeping
the house for her. Devalah is back in the United States. John Morton is doing
BBC at Elis (Linda Lawrence's Club) etc..... This is just example ... tell me
what you think? You asked for Richard and Kamalah's e-mail address. They don't
have a personal e-mail address yet but Richard's music group has a
website
from here you can email to Richard. It's Kapi the webmaster who reads the
email and then calls Richard and Kamalah to give them the message. Soon they

The Night I Saw Santa Claus
It was the night of Christmas many years ago. My children were cozy and asleep in their beds, as was my wife. I was watching the late, late news when suddenly the TV screen image changed, and there was Shotsy Wallace on the screen.
"Come down to Don Tucker's, Hal." she demanded, "Immediately!"
I blinked and rubbed my eyes to see if I was dreaming when she repeated, "Come down now."
It was two o'clock in the morning, but what the hell, I went downstairs. I walked in Don's open back door, though the kitchen and down the long hall to the front room. There was Don, Shotsy, and Father. The room had the richest colors color and textures. I felt like I had walked into the lair of king or a sheik. They seemed to expect me, at least they didn't mind, and then they offered me some Christmas cheer.
It seemed like time stood still that evening. We talked and talked, and though I remember nothing of what we talked about, I will never forget that feeling of intimacy and comfort, nearness and farness, time and eternity, a kind of static joy in the stillness of space.
What I do recall is Shotsy asking Father over and over what was going to happen in the following year. Father indulged her with smiles, but never answered. Shotsy continued to persist, and finally Father laughed, like Santa Claus with a "bowl full of jelly" and said,"To be continued". halsong@pacbell.net
